Every dog groomer, one place
USA Dog Grooming is the largest and most comprehensive dog grooming directory in the United States: a free directory of grooming salons, mobile groomers, and pet businesses that groom, covering every state and 4,472 cities. It exists to answer one question well: who should groom my dog, near me, and how do I reach them?

Where the information comes from
Listings start from publicly available business information. We check it for duplicates and mismatches, keep only businesses that actually offer pet care, and show a date on every page so you know how fresh the details are. We don’t copy review text; we link you to the reviews.
From there the directory grows the way a directory should: through the businesses themselves. Any owner can create a free account, claim their listing, and keep hours, services, photos, and contact details current. Claimed listings carry a managed-by-owner badge. Businesses that aren’t listed yet can add themselves, and every new listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live.
If something is wrong about a business you don’t manage, or you’d rather a business not be listed, tell us and we’ll fix or remove it.
Choosing a groomer
- Read the review themes, not just the stars. “Patient with anxious dogs” or “great with doodles” tells you more than a 4.8.
- Check the services list for your breed’s needs: hand-stripping, de-shedding, creative color, and cat grooming are not universal.
- Look at the hours and whether it’s appointment-only before you drive over. Many small salons book weeks out.
- Mobile groomers cost more but spare an anxious dog the car ride and the kennel wait.
- Ask about vaccination requirements, how long the visit takes, and whether your dog will be crated between steps.
For grooming businesses
Your listing is free, and so is claiming it. Once verified you can update everything customers see, add photos, link your booking page, and mark yourself as mobile. Not listed yet? Add your business in a few minutes.
Find your listing on its city page and click “Claim,” or search for it from the Add page so you don’t create a duplicate.
Independent and small by design
USA Dog Grooming is built and run by one person who got tired of directories that list everything and tell you nothing. Questions, corrections, and ideas are always welcome through the contact page.
